Coffee exclusively for us, cultivated, picked and professionally processed with care by our partners in La Laguna. We’re enjoying a wonderfully fragrant cup of this exact brew right now. A project like this is only possible with a common vision. The coffee farmers continue to develop professionally and to improve their cultivation methods. Meanwhile, we are able to look forward to top-quality coffee and reliable partners. When people pull together, anything is possible – and it can all be done sustainably. And this is only the beginning.

  • Flavour

The Café Royal La Laguna Espresso has a refreshingly long-lasting, citrusy acidity. Subtle hints of caramel and almond wonderfully round off this harmonious flavour profile.
  • Roast

Thanks to a light roast, the balanced citrusy acidity of our Arabica coffee from La Laguna truly comes into its own.
  • Origin

Our journey to the home of our La Laguna Single Origin coffee takes us to the municipality of Concepción del Norte in north-western Honduras. Here, coffee cherries grow in a warm, humid environment at 900–1200 metres above sea level, and are then processed at the central “Beneficio” in La Laguna.
  • Design

The light green and yellow colour accents in the design represent the warm rays of the sun shining through the rainforest canopy on a beautiful day in Honduras. A profusion of flowers, as well as the coffee plant through all stages in its life cycle, also appear in stylised form on the packaging.

  • Flavour

The Café Royal La Laguna Mild has a refreshing acidity, reminiscent of citrus fruits. Together with the subtle sweetness of the blend, this results in a particularly mild and creamy coffee experience.
  • Roast

Our La Laguna Single Origin coffee is lightly roasted, allowing the citrusy acidity typical to the variety to truly come into its own.
  • Origin

Our Arabica coffee thrives in the warm, humid climate in the small region of La Laguna in north-western Honduras. This is a terroir that is reflected in the flavour of the coffee it produces. The ripe cherries are picked by hand before being sent for processing at the central “Beneficio” in La Laguna.
  • Design

The packaging design of our coffee is inspired by the profusion of flowers in La Laguna, as well as by the coffee plant itself, which is represented in stylised form in all its different stages of development. The blue colour accents reflect the blue of the Honduran flag.
